Smart Lunar Calendar

“Eve the BLV” is a smart device that tells you the fortune on the fly based on the lunar moon phase and calendar as well as the current hour. Leveraging the lunar calendar API, it gets the most recent lunar date and uses a sophisticated equation to calculate whether something is likely to happen, not likely to happen, never or will happen immediately. The idea come from the ancient Chinese practice of fortune telling “Six-finger Technique,” which essentially predicts the future using a combination of calculations one can do on their hand. This device uses a screen to interact with the user and the fortune is displayed in the Blynk app. It also uses a piezo buzzer to play a tune for the most fortunate event and it uses a servo to spin a hippopotamus once the question is prompted.
